Working again.
It is the company BBQ today and I offered to cover reception so that the REAL employees could all go and enjoy the BBQ. Which makes sense! Everyone acted as if I was being the best person of all time, but it was only fair. I’m only here for a few weeks and I hardly know anyone properly. My Dad brought me food though. Which was lovely!
But they’ve got a Boules Tournament. The funniest conversation happened between a lot of the IT guys earlier:
IT Guy 1: WE HAVE TO WIN THIS, GUYS.
IT Guy 2: What can we do to win this…?
IT Guy 1 (clearly super desperate to win): WE COULD BREAK ALL THEIR WRISTS!
IT Guy 2: Bit harsh. That’s a bit harsh really……. :/
IT Guy 2: *looks offended*
IT Guy 3: FINGERS!………………. Fingers are easy to break….
IT Guy 2: …….’accidentally’!!!!!
