So I'm waiting for my new phone to get delivered
and this basically means looking out of the window EVERY time a car that sounds like a van drives down my road. I also can’t see the road from my window so I’m also running into my sister’s room to see the potential courier van. Keep telling myself that this is the last time I’ll check.
I JUST HATE THE SURPRISE OF A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.

Best thing ever.
Was just casually making cupcakes and dancing to music (country - the only music to cook to) and a couple from church turned up expecting dinner at my house before a meeting. My mum, meanwhile, had gone off to Zumba exercise class and totally forgotten. It wasn’t even in the diary. First batch of cupcakes being made today.

So far I have had to use plain flour and baking powder instead of self raising, and the bottoms of the cakes are soggy. Taste good though. If the icing is ok then I say it’s a success. Come on and cool now cakes.
Did you wait for them to cool completely? Pahahahhahahah.

36 cupcakes to give as gifts to various family members! I already have the gift boxes, I just need cases, glitter and decorations.
I’m also going to possibly make my own christmas cake, definitely make mince pies, and probably baileys cheesecake.

I don’t think I can bear living here for another 7 months. Despite the fact I have mentioned several times that I am trying to do some course reading, my mum has not stopped shouting and stomping around since we got home today.
I wish she would just grow up and attempt to actually deal properly with things as opposed to ranting around for hours.

It is the company BBQ today and I offered to cover reception so that the REAL employees could all go and enjoy the BBQ. Which makes sense! Everyone acted as if I was being the best person of all time, but it was only fair. I’m only here for a few weeks and I hardly know anyone properly. My Dad brought me food though. Which was lovely!

Brain is now hurting from the sheer effort
of cramming a year’s worth of knowledge into it in 4 and a half days. Now, this sounds like a long time, but in reality 1 day of work = Three, maybe four hours of work in reality.
Stupid life, stupid Greek rituals that don’t actually make any sense, stupid TV that is tempting me to do nothing and just fail my exams and my life and everything.
